Message Board:

1. PTA Membership Drive:
Please turn in any PTA memberships to Michelle.

2. Psychomotor Supervision:
If you are the supervising teacher, please remember to have your students eat their breakfast in the pavilion area as well. This will alleviate having the TAs wait for certificated staff to arrive before sending students out to the yard. TAs, please remember to wear your vests during all supervision times.

3. Norm Day:
Norm Day was Sept. 12, however, the district has allowed some flexibility which has enabled us to not move forward with reorganization. We are still only a few students away from earning our numbers. We are on a day by day basis until we get final word from the district. Thanks for your patience.

4. Emergency Cards:
Please make sure you turn in all emergency cards to the office. Let us know if you need help with a student who is not turning in their emergency cards. These are a must.

5. Internet Upgrade:
Please remember to shut down your computers daily.

6. Student Supervision:
All staff is responsible for student supervision. Please make sure students are properly supervised by assisting when someone needs help or when a student needs redirection to keep them safe. Student safety is always our number one priority.

7. School Site Council (SSC):
Staff nominations were turned in. Mr. Rhymer, Ms. Kovnat, Ms. Franklin, Ms. Arriaga, and Ms. Ly (alternate) will be confirmed by staff on Tuesday at the end of Bank Time. Our parent members were elected on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 during our ELAC and SSC orientation and election. Our first meeting will be on 9/23/2014 at 2:30pm.

  • Thanks to everyone for supporting the chocolate sales. We’re headed towards meeting our goal.

    ELD Instruction:
    ELD Instruction should be 45-60 minutes daily depending on ELD levels.

    Attendance:
    All attendance notes need to be cleared timely. If you are not able to clear an absence because three days have past then please send up the notice to the office to clearitimmediately. Whenyou hold on to them and send them up in bulk it takes too much time for office staff to complete and keep updated. Send them up as you get them. Thanks!

    Positive Behavior Support:
    Please work on your rules, consequences and rewards. Children must be clear and understand exactly what the expectations are.
